NEPAL - AN INCREDIBLE COUNTRY IN THE EARTH !

Camping trek (Tented)

During the tented trek, you are completely independent. You will sleep in a two men tent and throughout the trip your personal cook will prepare fresh food especially for you. A guide and porters will accompany you and often, in the evenings, they provide the entertainment by singing and playing music. This is a much more traditional way of trekking and it is more interesting in remote areas. The advantages of this kind of trek are: greater privacy compared to lodge dormitories, a better quality of meals and meaning of full of satisfaction of the real trekking trip.

Teahouse trek (Lodge)

Lodges is a kind of rustic mountain inn and are an exceptional way to enjoy the trekking experience. They are the combination of guesthouse, restaurant, and social hang out. During the lodge trek, you will have dormitory or separate rooms. All lodge provide a bed and blanked to keep you warm and comfortable. We provide your food prepared by the lodge people is an excellent way to experience the local food and culture in the shared dining room. There is also a terrific atmosphere in the lodge in the evenings, chatting about the day's adventures and meeting new people. Lodge owners and staff can often become involved in this and it is a great way to learn about their culture. This gives the trek that true adventure feel.

We encourage all trekkers along the Everest, Langtang, and Annapurna treks to try our teahouse treks. Our many years of experience along these routes have helped us find the friendliest, cleanest, and most enjoyable teahouses with the best views.

ABC adventures (P) Ltd. has specifically selected, where available, lodges that employ environmentally sound practices including the utilization of solar energy. It is always our preference to stay in accommodation that is practicing good eco-tourism principles and this is very important to us here at ABC adventures (P) Ltd.

Most teahouses have running Hot water. Many have hot water available for bathing. But we discourage our groups from using water heated by wood fires due to lack of firewood in most villages. Deforestation is big environmental concerns in Nepal. They are also a great way to help and support to local villages.
