The lake of high regards to all AUM followers, bloomed like blue LOTUS in the mid of the upper Mustang Himalaya range, is not easily approachable. Either one has to be there by 10 days on walk trek or have to take private chopper from Jomsom. This Lake situated on the height of 5400m above Sea level and on the Lap of Damodar Himalaya. And this beautiful mountain lake is the source of SHALIGRAMI.

Amongst all of AUM followers like, Buddhist, Jain, Bon and Hindus; the Vaishanavi Sanatan Sapradayi highly regards this lake as the ultimate destination of Lord Vishnu. According; Sruti and Manusmriti; Lord Vishnu turned into STONE and he recline on the Damodar Kund, as each stone from Damodar Kund considered as Vishnu Swarupa.

To get a glance of Damodar Kund has to fly over the Upper Mustang area and is also known as trans Himalaya district of Nepal and the landscape (scene) is beyond of imagination.

Every year from India and all over the world a few handful devotees used to visit this sacred land of lord Vishnu. And pay theirs’ high regards. Continuing same mythological faith and regards the biggest group from Maharastra (Pune and Kolhapur) has been visited this scared lake on the month of May 17, 18, and 19 – 2011 is the biggest group to visited Damodar Kund. 35 Indian Devotees including; Bhaskaranarayan Swami Ji from Badrinath, Shri Yogeshwar Ji from Narayan Temple from Pune and devotees of Lord Vishnu visited this sacred places successfully and the mission of Damodar Kund has collaborated with Fishtail Air. The powerful turbo engine B3 Helicopter flew 8 times (Shuttle) to complete the mission. Cap. Dipak Rana; the best and experienced pilot has controlled helicopter to success such a big mission of Damodar Kund. If we revert back the days; there is no any record to visit this sacred place more than 10 persons at a time. By grace blessing of Lord we received such an opportunity to complete the biggest mission of Damodar Kund.

First of all I would like to pay my high regards to Lord to giving me such an opportunity and thanks to my co-organizer company from Kolhapur. The Summit Adventures is established and renounce company from Kolhapur, Maharastra is organizing adventure and pilgrimage trip to Nepal, Tibet and India from its established period.

With long effort of Mr. Vinod Kamboj, (MD) of Summit adventures Kolhapur, 35 devotees of Lord Vishnu achieved the merit of this Pilgrimage Mission.The effort and working experience of Bhuban B. Khadka (CEO) of ABC adventures (P) Ltd and Program coordinator Mr. Prakash Chandra Lohani played vital and Diplomatic role to make the Yatra however smooth and pleasure. I pay the high regards and thanks to Mr. Vishnu Sigdel, program coordinator from the Home Ministry. His role is highly appreciable.

At finally; I thanks to all my team workers, who paid theirs attendance to success this great mission and thanks to all the devotees and wish them for the life with satisfaction.
